Ongoing Projects
Integrated Skill Development Project
The Integrated Skills Development Project (ISDP) is a transformative initiative implemented by In Need Home Uganda, with funded with support from Otto Per Mille of the Waldensian Church of Italy. This partnership marks a major step toward creating new pathways of hope and opportunity for young people and women in communities that have long faced limited access to education, jobs, and sustainable livelihoods.
In many of these areas, poverty and unemployment have left families struggling and youth without meaningful options for the future.
ISDP responds to this reality by equipping participants with marketable vocational and entrepreneurship skills; ranging
from tailoring, catering, and hairdressing to business management and financial literacy.
Practical Skilling
Through practical skilling, mentorship, and business start-up support, the project aims to turn potential into productivity, enabling participants to create dignified sources of income and to contribute meaningfully to their local economies.
The project is already sparking positive change; restoring confidence, inspiring creativity, and helping communities shift from dependency to self-reliance.
In Need Home warmly thanks the Otto Per Mille of the Waldensian Church of Italy for their support. Together, we are transforming lives, strengthening communities, and building a more inclusive and self-sustaining future.
