In Need Home partners with Mary Poppins Learning Centre

Mary Poppins Learning Centre, signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with In Need Home to work together on a programme of helping young mothers to improve on their standard of living(SoL).

Mary Poppins Learning Centre, is a Turkish Education Company, that recently was incorporated in Uganda, and it provides international training to empower women in developing countries through provision of tailored and relevant education, geared to promoting their employment.

This learning centre aims at empowering young women after realizing that in Africa most girls fail to complete their studies due to limited access to education and they end up being unemployed and forced into early marriages.

So, Mary Poppins Learning Centre came out with this program to empower young women in Africa to be able to be self employed or seek for employment in other entities.

Mary Poppins offers practical relevant courses which are affordable to everyone even those in the slums. Courses for example Baby and Child Care, Patient and Elderly Care and different agricultural courses, present amazing opportunities for young women employment, locally and internationally.

On average, a course takes a duration of 3 months after enrollment. On completion, an internationally recognized certificate is awarded by Mary Poppins Learning Centre.

In Need Home together with Mary Poppins Learning Centre have started admitting for the first class which is supposed to start at the begging game of October. To sponsor a young woman at risk in Namuwongo slum, it costs $100 after which she can be able start working.

The program has not yet gotten a donor but we depend on individual donors, if you are interested in sponsoring a woman to attain education in any course, feel free to write to us on needy@inneedhome.org.

In Need Home is delighted to partner with Mary Poppins Learning Centre, because, this will help to empower girls who dropped out of school living in the slums and got involved in drugs, prostitution and many other wild behaviours. And we believe that these courses will create everlasting impact in their lives.
