Music dance and drama

We use music therapy as an effective tool to reduce anxiety, provide emotional relief and facilitate affirming social interactions. We use it to help traumatised youngsters to reconnect with their present selves, to accept themselves, and to foster resilience. This is mostly during the two years of behavioural change and education bridging at In Need Home before placing children in formal schools. Children engage in Beat boxing, break dance, acrobatics, guitar lessons and traditional dances from different tribes in Uganda for example Entogolo, ekiziina, Maganda, Lakalaka dances among others.
